Christina Craemer is a Los Angeles-based visual artist specialising in large-scale waterfall paintings, mixed media works, and photographic fine art. Her practice bridges fine art, photography, and spatial design, creating works that transform the emotional tone of the spaces they inhabit.

With a background in architectural engineering and interior design, Christina brings structural sensitivity to her art — understanding how scale, light, and composition affect the human experience of a room.

## Artistic Practice

Christina's work centres on two primary series:

### The Illuminated Lines Series
Nature-inspired paintings exploring the profound effect of natural phenomena on the conscious mind. Works in this series capture waterfalls, light, and water movement through layers of mixed media on canvas and linen. Pieces include Mirari Lines (2022), Abundant Lines (2020), Glacial Lines (2022), Cielo Lines (2022), and others.

### The Waterfall Series
Large-scale paintings and mixed media works inspired by waterfalls photographed across the world — Africa, Iceland, Wyoming, and beyond. Many pieces incorporate fluorescent elements to capture the aura of falling water and luminous mist. Pieces include Absolute Lines (2021), Indigo Lines, Ignited Lines, Lightening Lines, Icelandic Lines, Eternal Life Lines (2025), and others.

### Additional Works
The Divine Lines and Divinely Falling Lines pieces are sky and cloud paintings inspired by the landscapes of Wyoming, capturing soft white light breaking through cloud formations.
