A decade after beginning her sojourn into fine art a stunning new series emerges. The work in “Tantrik Lines” transforms forests and trees into mystics and numinous planes. As the noble Bengali scholar Rabindranath Tagore penned so eloquently “Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven”. The source of this new, epic series of paintings is Craemer’s ongoing desire to transport us with her visual explorations in nature. She seeks to enchant through her lens, to divine with brush and paint.
